The software itself that is installed on your device also has a lot of different options within it. I’m not so bothered about myself or my wife, but it does allow me to keep an eye on my sons activity and to ensure that he is not bring a virus into the home network! One of my favourite parts of the software has to be the online portal. Perfect, so I thought I would get it installed and give it a go for 30 days. I need to cover three machines at home, my own computer, my wives and my son’s laptop. The costs for it were quite surprising as well. From what I can remember, it was pretty good in the business sector so thought I’d give it a go. Someone at work recommended Bitdefender which I have used in a corporate environment in the past. I have tried a number of the so-called free antivirus programs that are out there, but they do not give you the full level of protection and a lot of the time you have to pay for the extra modules anyway. However, the price has doubled since I last took out the subscription so I have been looking for something different. I am just coming up to the renewal for my Sophos Antivirus subscription that I have had for a number of years, which I have shared across a number of devices within my household. Bitdefender is one of the best antiviruses we have.
